Why can’t I list my DVD or Blu-Ray for sale?

Region-locked DVDs and Blu-Rays
The majority of our customers in New Zealand and Australia have DVD or Blu-Ray players which are region locked. This means that they can only play:

Region 4 and region 0 DVDs

Region B and region FREE blu-ray discs

While some customers can play titles from other regions, in the past, sales of out-of-region titles have resulted in a high rate of returns and customer complaints. For this reason, we have restricted listing to these regions only.

If you receive an error message:
If the DVD or Blu-Ray you want to list meets these criteria but you receive the error message ‘Sorry, that item cannot be sold on Fishpond due to regulatory and compliance reasons...". Please contact us and we’ll get it sorted for you.

If the title doesn’t meet these criteria, we’re sorry, you can’t list them for sale on fishpond.com.au.
